IP management
Swagger-UI: ip-mgmt-v1 | OpenAPI file: ip-mgmt-v1.yml
The IP Management API is used to manage the reverse DNS (Domain Name System) name any of the IP addresses and prefixes available to the customer. The reverse DNS name is configured for either a separate IP (v4 or v6) address, or an address within a prefix. Note that addresses that never have been given a reverse DNS name within a prefix will not be listed.
A reverse DNS name is used to translate an IP address into a hostname, which can reduce spam rating when for example used for outgoing email. The provider of the IP space needs to announce these names when a specific address is queried, which is why it needs to be configurable using the API.
If desired, the DNS name needs to be configured with the DNS provider of your domain name.
